The DAX Turns Blue

The legendary and always lively little 2-stroke 125cc Honda adopts a new blue color for its 2024 model year.
After a 41-year absence, the Dax reappeared in Honda’s mini-motorcycle lineup in 2023 alongside the Monkey. For 2024, this two-wheeled legend is available in a new Blue color, joining the Red and Gray options introduced last year.

Few motorized 2-wheels, big or small, have left as strong an impression as the Dax with its distinctive stamped T-frame that houses the fuel tank and runs from the seat to the chromed handlebars. Its overall shape is reminiscent of a “basset” dog—short-legged and long-bodied—the very same breed that gave its name to the very first ST50 Dax in 1969.

The 2024 Dax retains this charming silhouette while offering enough space to comfortably accommodate two riders. The suspension is handled by a 31mm inverted fork and a pair of shock absorbers. The whole is mounted on 12-inch wheels fitted with balloon tires, ensuring agility in city and surrounding areas. The lighting uses LEDs, and the instrument panel features a negative LCD screen. Equipment also includes a chrome handlebar and a passenger footpeg.
