Urban and off-road fun with the DAB 1αX

DAB Motors, now part of Peugeot Motocycles, has unveiled its latest creation: the DAB 1αX.

This electric motorcycle is an off-road variant of the DAB 1α, designed to appeal to both urban freedom enthusiasts and off-road adventurers.

Manufactured in Bayonne, the DAB 1αX retains the clean and minimalist style that has established the brand’s reputation, while enhancing its off-road capabilities. It features Pirelli Scorpion knobby tires, a raised carbon fiber front fender, and robust fork protections. Its aesthetics are highlighted by an optional exclusive “S-Black” finish and the use of premium materials such as recycled carbon fiber sourced from Airbus.

Under its elegant exterior lies a powerful electric motor: 8 kW nominal, up to 25.5 kW (34 hp) peak, with an impressive torque of 395 Nm at the wheel. This performance allows the DAB 1αX to reach 130 km/h. It is powered by a 7.1 kWh battery (6.2 kWh usable), offering up to 150 km of range in urban use. A full charge takes 3 hours and 30 minutes via a standard outlet or Type 2 connection.

DAB carves its path

Weighing only 125 kg, this motorcycle offers a dynamic ride, enhanced by high-end equipment: adjustable Paioli suspensions, Brembo brakes, LCD display, LED lighting, and several riding modes, including a Boost mode. It also features regenerative braking.

Beyond its technical specifications, the DAB 1αX embodies a culture. Inspired by the custom world, its creators, and urban aesthetics, it can be fully personalized through DAB’s Custom Studio. Each unit is hand-assembled, emphasizing attention to detail.

Of course, the price reflects the high standards and aspirations of this electric motorcycle, with a starting price of 14,900 euros. It is also available for 169 euros per month over 84 months with a down payment of 4,100 euros.
