Zero motorcycles are booming in France

Zero Motorcycles continues its expansion in Europe, where the French market plays a driving role… in electric, of course!

Zero Motorcycles was founded in 2006 in a garage in Santa Cruz, California. Quickly, Zero Motorcycles became an international company, offering highly performing, lightweight, efficient, and fast electric motorcycles. The Zero range now includes 9 models with the arrival of the new DSR/X to convert the trail spirit to electric, in line with the brand’s philosophy.

The shift to electric is the way of the future, including for scooters and motorcycles, and the rising activity of sector players is mechanically reducing prices. France remains the largest market in Europe for the global leader in electric motorcycles and powertrains. The year 2022 was marked by the launch of the brand new Zero DSR/X trail. A versatile model that tops the Californian brand’s lineup, its arrival attracted new customers to the network this year.

In 2023, Scott Valley’s company, through its French network of thirty dealers, sold around 346 motorcycles in France over the first nine months of the year, cementing its first place among electric motorcycle brands. Zero Motorcycles thus records a +15% growth compared to 2022 over the same period, with France remaining the leading volume market for the manufacturer, especially active in Paris and Lyon.
