Skoda Roadiaq, for contemporary explorers

29 students from the Skoda Vocational School transformed an Enyaq into a camper and a multifunctional mobile office.

It is a unique and astonishing vehicle created by members of the Skoda Academy, the Roadiaq. With this camper van/multifunctional mobile office, the 29 participating apprentices have developed a vehicle that perfectly caters to “contemporary explorers” or modern explorers. The Roadiaq is a sustainable, all-wheel-drive, 100% electric vehicle that digital nomads can use to travel, work, and entertain themselves, enjoying independence even off the beaten path, wherever they wish.

The 29 apprentices from the vocational school started working on the Roadiaq in fall 2022. Over nine months, they dedicated more than 2,000 hours to creating a multifunctional camper and mobile office vehicle that digital nomads can use to work, travel, or simply relax. Providing true independence, this car perfectly aligns with the adventurous spirit of contemporary explorers. For the first time, the Skoda Azubi Car is based on the all-electric Skoda Enyaq SUV with a battery. Thanks to numerous exterior and interior modifications, the vehicle is suitable for work on the move, camping, and outdoor activities.

The Skoda Roadiaq contains everything a modern mobile office needs: a permanent Internet connection, a 27-inch screen, and a docking station. Yet, in just a few steps, the Skoda Roadiaq transforms from a workspace into a living environment with a bed and a small kitchenette. The students of the Skoda Vocational School turned a standard Enyaq into their dream car. Their teachers and specialists from many Skoda departments, as well as third-party experts in camper conversions, supported them with their expertise throughout the process. This ninth Skoda Azubi Car since 2014 once again demonstrates the high level of education and training at Mladá Boleslav. The Skoda Vocational School is part of the Skoda Academy, and the Azubi Car project celebrated its tenth anniversary in April 2023.
