Renault Niagara, the ultimate pickup from the end of the world

After its Kardian SUV intended for the South American market, Renault unveils the Niagara Concept which previews Renault’s international style. And France?

By 2027, Renault will invest 3 billion euros to launch eight new vehicles internationally (outside Europe). While the European SUV market is saturated with Arkana, Austral, Rafale, and now Scenic, once again Renault is choosing this format for its international development.

With the Niagara Concept, Renault presents a vehicle that certainly shares its technical base with its Canadian-inspired cousin, the Alaskan pick-up. A format shunned in Europe but very popular on the American continent. With exuberant and decidedly modern lines, this concept anticipates the style of Renault’s future vehicle lineup based on the new Renault Group modular platform.

With generous curves and detailed craftsmanship, it reflects a new design language that is both emotional and technological. The grille is both rugged and contemporary. Renault is written out in full with a “pixel art” finish strongly inspired by pop culture.

Featuring a front end with a prominent protective skid, elevated ground clearance, long-travel suspensions, and significant approach angles at both front and rear, the Niagara Concept immediately demonstrates its potential for even the most extreme road conditions. It incorporates the boldest codes from the pickup world.

Wide shoulders accompany the top part of the side panels, reinforcing the vehicle’s robust appearance. At the rear, the combination of the falling roofline and the pronounced tilt of the C-pillar gives it dynamism and sportiness.

Niagara Concept is covered with camouflage inspired by the lines and patterns of the brand’s logo. Green for adventure, yellow for sportiness, light gray for technicality, all on a black background for power.
