Moustache 100% Made in France

Moustache unveils a new model entirely made in France. The Vosges company revives a French tradition lost for four decades.
On September 6th, with the release of the “J,” it’s a “J”our Nouveau, rising for Moustache. After being one of the first brands to believe in the potential of e-bikes ten years ago, Moustache has continued its dreams: relocating the production of its bicycle frames and creating the ideal bike, one that will suit everyone. A significant step for the Vosges brand, embodying the rebirth of a French bicycle industry.
“I dreamed of a bike more open than ever, more comfortable than ever, a bike that goes even further than anything we had done before. A magical bike to inspire people to start or restart cycling, and above all, to enjoy themselves” explains Emmanuel ANTONOT, co-founder of Moustache.
It’s beautiful, it’s French!
The teams developed, in collaboration with their founding partners and machinists, a unique molding process for the production of a 100% French frame. Cast in Vitrolles in Bouches-du-Rhône, machined in Jura, then powder-coated in Alsace, the assembly and complete bike building are carried out entirely in Moustache workshops in the Vosges. With this approach, Moustache reduces the transportation of its frames from over 15,000 km usually to less than 1,000 km.
For over ten years, Moustache has encouraged cyclists to leave their cars in the garage and choose cycling instead. This desire to make cities more breathable is gradually expanding into making their bike production more sustainable. Hats off to Moustache!
