Elon Musk promises a flying Tesla Roadster and a future dominated by AI

During his latest lengthy appearance on the podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, Elon Musk reimagined the world for over three hours.

Nothing is too much for Elon Musk: flying cars, artificial intelligence, SpaceX, conspiracy theories, and even the end of human labor. The head of Tesla, SpaceX, and the social network X once again combined futuristic vision with deliberate provocation.

The most striking moment? The announcement of the next Tesla Roadster, expected before the end of 2025. Musk claimed the electric coupe would feature “crazy technology” capable of flying “more than all the James Bond cars combined.” True to his penchant for grandeur, the entrepreneur says he wants to realize the old dream of flying cars.

But the interview wasn’t just about automotive promises. Musk also discussed the transformation of SpaceX. His Texas launch site, Starbase, now has official city status, and the company delivers 90% of everything sent from Earth into space. Musk assures that in the very near future, space flight costs will be reduced by a factor of 100, opening up infinite possibilities.

The billionaire also dedicated a large part of the discussion to artificial intelligence. He believes that AI and robotics will eventually replace all jobs, creating a society with a “high universal basic income” where working becomes optional. However, he warns against ideological abuses. According to him, some AI systems are infected with a “woke mind virus” and should return to being “truth-seeking.”
