A Tire Dedicated to the Opel Experimental: A Collaboration Between Opel and Goodyear

Recently, numerous details have been revealed about the Opel Experimental. They offer a preview of the company’s upcoming models.

Today, we learned that the Opel Experimental will be equipped with a special tire model. It has been developed by Opel and Goodyear. Two days ago, the brand’s Experimental model was introduced in more detail, featuring aerodynamic lines at its core, as well as light strips to give the vehicle a new style.

A design in the image of the vehicle

For this experiment, Goodyear and Opel aimed to create a tire reflecting the design of the world’s Experimental model. To complement the new look of this vehicle, the tires feature a blend of custom rubbers tailored to the Experimental. In a statement, Goodyear announced that the tire was designed to enhance the vehicle’s aerodynamic performance.

Laurent Colantonio, senior director of passenger tire technology at Goodyear EMEA, shared his thoughts: “The Opel Experimental concept is a masterpiece that highlights Goodyear’s innovation. This visionary styling study reveals Opel’s extreme precision and attention to detail, which strongly resonates with our own values.
