One in three people is affected by motion sickness. To help them, Citroën offers its Seetroën glasses.

Citroën introduces Seetroën, the first glasses that prevent motion sickness. They use technology patented by Boarding Ring, a French start-up based in Var that we recently mentioned.

This device is patented and tested, with an effectiveness rate of 95%. It is a pair of glasses equipped with 4 rings that contain colored liquid. Since motion sickness is related to a perception mismatch between sight and balance, the liquid moves to simulate an artificial horizon, allowing the view and inner ear to resynchronize in less than 10 minutes. Thanks to the liquid moving within the rings placed around the eyes, in the front-back direction (left/right), as well as in the sagittal direction (forward/back), the glasses recreate the horizon line to resolve the sensory conflict that causes sickness. A reliable technology in 95% of cases!

The glasses are not fitted with lenses, so they can be shared by all family members, travel companions, etc. They can also be worn over regular glasses.
