Citroën C5 Aircross Electric with Long Range Available from April

Citroën opens orders in France for the electric Long Range version of its C5 Aircross SUV, with up to 680 km of range.

Starting from April 1, 2026, Citroën opens orders in France for the electric Long Range version of its C5 Aircross SUV. Designed for long trips, this version offers up to 680 km of range in the mixed WLTP cycle and ultra-fast charging from 20 to 80% in just 27 minutes on a 160 kW station, positioning the C5 Aircross among the most versatile electric models in its category.

Battery and Powertrain

The C5 Aircross Long Range combines a 97 kWh usable battery manufactured by ACC’s “Gigafactory” in Douvrin with a 230 hp (170 kW) electric motor produced by STL-NIDEC in Trémery. Three driving modes — Normal, Eco, and Sport — allow adjustment of power and range according to needs, complemented by a three-level regenerative braking system to optimize recovered energy.

Comfort, Technology, and Charging

Citroën focuses on comfort with heated seats and steering wheel, a heat pump reducing energy consumption, and a spacious cabin true to the “comfort class” experience. The integrated trip planner and the e-ROUTES app provide intelligent navigation to optimize the route based on traffic, terrain, charging stations, and the battery’s charge state.

The SUV offers an 11 kW three-phase charger (6h30) and a 22 kW bi-directional V2L option, allowing up to 160 km of range recovery in ten minutes while powering external devices.

Pricing and Availability

The Long Range version is available in the PLUS trim starting at €46,990, BUSINESS at €48,990, and MAX at €50,990, with eligibility for the CEE bonus depending on conditions.

Citroën thus confirms its electric strategy, offering a spacious, comfortable SUV capable of long journeys with optimized charging performances.
