And to properly salute this cult sports compact, the Japanese brand unveils a final exclusive series: the Ultimate Edition, a version limited to only 40 copies for all of Europe, with one unique reserved for France and definitely already sold…

Behind this ultimate version lies a vibrant tribute to nearly three decades of mechanical passion. Sporting the mythical Championship White color, the Civic Type R Ultimate Edition is adorned with custom red stickers, a carbon rear spoiler, a black roof, and carbon door sills, for a look that is both aggressive and refined. The interior is no exception, featuring carbon inserts, exclusive ambient lighting, and carefully crafted details that echo the model’s sporty DNA.

Each owner will also receive a gift box containing exclusive accessories, including a numbered emblem, personalized floor mats, a carbon keychain, and a protective cover. All these elements make this series a true collector’s item.

A farewell forever

But behind this limited edition, an entire era comes to a close. The era of compact thermal sports cars, with their fierce engines and sharpened chassis, designed primarily to deliver driving pleasure. With the evolution of European standards and the transition to electrified drivetrains, the Civic Type R will no longer be marketed in the European market from 2026.
