Hyundai and Toyota Unite Their Most Extreme Models for a Unique Celebration

Hyundai and Toyota invite motorsport enthusiasts to the Yong-in circuit in South Korea on October 27th.

Although Toyota and Hyundai are fiercely competing on circuits and rally tracks worldwide, it’s impossible to resist the temptation to come together for just one day to celebrate the passion for Motorsport and innovation.

The Hyundai N x Toyota GAZOO Racing Festival will take place on October 27, 2024, at the Everland Speedway in Yong-in, South Korea. This event will mark the very first collaboration between the Japanese and Korean brands. The two manufacturers will take the opportunity to showcase several high-performance models and race cars, while the Korean public will have plenty of opportunities to explore the fascinating world of motorsport. This is a wonderful way to highlight the impact of competition on the development of high-volume products, both sporty and not.

As the highlight of the event, participants will be able to witness an amazing driving demonstration under rally special stage conditions, featuring professional cars and drivers from the Hyundai and Toyota teams engaged in the World Rally Championship (WRC). Invited guests will also have the chance to experience a thrilling test drive to assess the real-world performance of these competition vehicles.

This festival will also feature cutting-edge prototypes, such as the IONIQ 5 N Drift Spec, the hydrogen concept N Vision 74, and the IONIQ 5 N TA. Toyota will present the AE86 H2 hydrogen engine concept derived from the Sprinter Trueno, the iconic vehicle from the famous Japanese manga Initial D, as well as the liquid hydrogen-powered Corolla GR.
