The prices of the new Renault Espace 6 are announced!

The new Renault Espace 6, the family version of the Renault Austral, has announced its prices. And they are €3,000 higher than those of its smaller sibling in Full Hybrid version.

Just look at the spike in audience that the new Renault Espace 6 generated on Mobiwisy to understand that the interest in this family model remains strong among the public, especially as it arrives at a time when the Peugeot 3008/5008 is entering the final phase of its career.

Based on the same technical platform as the Renault Austral, which we praised for its many qualities during our test drive on Spanish roads (read our review of the Renault Austral E-Tech Full Hybrid), the Espace 6 thus benefits from a solid foundation.

Its range will initially be simplified, because in these times of high taxes, the Full Hybrid version is the only one available in France. The order book opens on Monday, April 17, with a starting price set at €44,500, which is €3,000 more than its sibling Austral.

Three trims on offer

For this price, you get the Techno trim, which will be available a little later upon delivery. Its equipment includes: front and rear parking assist, rearview camera, wireless smartphone charger, 12” touchscreen central display, 12.3” digital gauges, tri-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry and start, heated and folding mirrors, etc.

The second level is called Esprit Alpine, starting at €47,500. Its equipment is logically more extensive: four-wheel steering, sporty bumpers, 20″ diamond-cut wheels, aluminum pedals, Alcantara dashboard, mixed fabric/Alcantara seats…

The third level is named Iconic, representing the current top of the line. It is priced at €49,500 and includes features such as a 360° camera, automatic parking, adaptive cruise control, heated seats, wooden inserts…

Note that all versions are exempt from the eco tax, and the seven seats are included by default. However, it is possible to choose the Espace 6 in a 5-seat configuration at the same price.

Finally, an attractive long-term rental option is offered at launch, with a duration of 37 months and a maximum of 30,000 km. Its cost? After a first payment of €5,000, you will pay €460 monthly for the Techno entry-level version. Note that if you order your Renault Espace 6 before the end of the month, you can benefit from three years of warranty and included maintenance for €1/month.
