In his latest video clip “Abcdefg,” singer Rosalia hints at the lines of the future flagship model from the brand Cupra, a 100% electric coupe SUV.
It has been over three years since the concept car Cupra Tavascan was unveiled. It was at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2019. A pre-COVID period when auto shows were still numerous across the Old Continent. After an epidemic crisis and a war, the production model appears briefly in a video clip by artist Rosalia. This original teaser was shared on the social network Twitch during half-time of a broadcast dedicated to the final of the Copa del Rey, a brand new football competition.
An interesting model in many respects, as it marks a new stylistic direction for the Spanish brand. Larger grille, new light signature, more detailed sides… Cupra seeks to distinguish itself even further from Seat. The final dimensions should be close to the concept, with a length of about 4.66 meters and a wheelbase of 2.77 meters, promising plenty of interior space.
No surprises under the hood
Like other Cupra models, the technical specifications do not contain any surprises. The flagship version will feature a 306 hp electric motor, paired with a 77 kWh battery. Theoretically, this should allow a range of up to 450 km according to WLTP homologation standards.

This future flagship of the Spanish brand will, however, not be produced in Europe but in China, following the joint venture agreement between Volkswagen China and JAC Motors. Its arrival is scheduled in the next few weeks, though it remains to be seen whether its price will be attractive.
