Superchargers: This Detail That the Tesla Cybertruck Did Not Anticipate

The dimensions of Tesla’s electric pickup, the Cybertruck, do not seem compatible with the reserved spots for Superchargers.

Therefore, it’s not surprising to learn that this massive size is currently causing problems in the charging stations of the Californian manufacturer. Parking is complicated, and the proximity to other vehicles seems to create tensions (no pun intended).

The second problem faced by owners of the Cybertruck: their trailer. Often, they tow a very large trailer, or even a caravan. A situation rarely experienced before with the Model 3, Y, S, or X.

To address this, Tesla plans to build specific spots for the Cybertruck in future Supercharger stations. Spots where you enter from one side and exit from the other, requiring a length of about fifteen meters. Like a truck on the highway.

Another source of tension: the slow charging of the Cybertruck, far from the promises. Tesla is working on this issue by increasing the charging power at these specific stations. Otherwise, the queues will only get longer.
