The price of the Skoda Enyaq 60 drops to 34,810 euros

The electric SUV Skoda Enyaq 60 price drops by 7,650 euros until June 30, 2024. Is it still a good deal?

Competition is a virtue that benefits consumers. Always well-positioned in terms of price, the Skoda Enyaq nevertheless needs to adjust its pricing since the arrival of new fierce competitors in the electric SUV segment. Starting with the very successful Renault Scenic, whose design, features, and prices are impressive.

But the Skoda Enyaq also has solid arguments to showcase, including a build quality that is far preferable to a disappointing Tesla Model Y, whose materials are of poor quality. Tesla has made the choice to appeal on other aspects, which it does successfully, mind you.

34,810 euros, the right price?

It must be acknowledged that with a list price of 46,460 euros, the Skoda Enyaq would have little chance of appealing in spring 2024. It’s as expensive as a Peugeot E-3008, a Tesla Model Y, or a Renault Scenic Large Range. Therefore, the Czech manufacturer has decided to offer a discount of 7,650 euros, plus the ecological bonus of 4,000 euros available to all households. Resulting in a final price of 34,810 euros.

This positions the Skoda Enyaq, with similar features, below 35,990 euros (bonus deducted, i.e., -1,180 euros) which is the asking price for the entry-level Renault Scenic with Autonomy Confort trim (also with a 60 kWh battery). Despite this, the Scenic retains an advantage with 430 km of range in mixed cycle, compared to 380 km for the Enyaq, along with a slightly higher level of modernity.

In the end, is Skoda’s offer enough to tip the balance in its favor? At Mobiwisy, we would tend to say no.
