The Latest Crazy Innovation from Pininfarina

Even if Pininfarina is no longer the legendary design studio that created some of the most beautiful cars in the world, it can still surprise.

Automobili Pininfarina delivered its most unique order to date: the Battista Reversario, inspired by the Battista Anniversario. An illustration of Pininfarina’s philosophy of creating unique vehicles tailored to customer desires. By creating the Battista Reversario, the client, alongside Automobili Pininfarina designers, brought to life a bespoke vehicle that will never be copied. The client’s collection already includes the last of a limited series of five Battista Anniversario models.

Reversario gets its name due to its color palette, designed to be the opposite of the Anniversario’s. The lower body is finished in Bianco Sestriere, and the upper body in Grigio Antonelliano.

Inside, the Pilota seats feature white Alcantara upholstery with padding over a perforated Iconica Blu back. The interior is predominantly black, including the custom anodized black chassis plate, with accents of Iconica Blu. Reversario is delivered with a set of three exclusive luggage pieces, including a briefcase, a city bag, and a leather suit carrier, trimmed with an Iconica Blu border and a beige Alcantara quilted lining.

Like the Anniversario, the Battista Reversario is the most powerful Italian-registered road-legal car ever built, propelled by an advanced powertrain. The world’s first fully electric hyper GT uses a high-capacity 120 kWh lithium-ion battery housed in a solid yet lightweight carbon fiber casing. Four high-performance independent electric motors drive each wheel. The liquid-cooled, T-shaped battery is mounted centrally behind the seats to ensure a low center of gravity.

The unique launch control technology of the Battista contributes to unparalleled Formula 1 acceleration, with a 0-100 km/h dash in 1.86 seconds and reaching 200 km/h in just 4.75 seconds. The driver, as the experience goes beyond mere driving, can choose among five driving modes to adapt the vehicle’s dynamics: Calma, Pura, Energica, Furiosa, and Carattere.
