With a length of 4.53 meters and a width of 1.91 meters, the Cyberster belongs to the category of the hefty Roadsters, far from the petite Mazda MX-5 which is over 60 cm shorter! Two powertrains are announced by MG to propel the beast. One with 310 hp on the rear wheels alone, and a diabolical version with 536 hp powered by two motors and connected to all-wheel drive. This latter would be capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds.

Promised since 2017, the new electric Tesla Roadster is desperately awaited. But its arrival is no longer in doubt as it now appears on the model pages of Tesla’s websites worldwide.

So what will this new Tesla bring? It all hinges on one promise: a 200 kWh battery capable of providing a 1000 km range. However, building a sports car with such a feature in its technical sheet is not simple. No less than three electric motors are planned for the future Roadster, similar to the Tesla Model S Plaid, which exceeds 1,000 hp. An acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds seems entirely plausible, as does a top speed of over 400 km/h. But more than power and performance, it is the supposed 200 kWh battery capacity that raises debate. Will there be enough space on a vehicle that is supposed to be light and compact? Nonetheless, optimists still bet on an estimated 1,000 km of range under American standards.

Announced in 2023, the Polestar 6 will hit the road this year and may present the best compromise between reason and passion thanks to its four seats. It will also be particularly virtuous thanks to the aluminum elements of its body and chassis, designed for optimal sorting and recycling. Its entire interior will follow this same approach with the concept of monomaterials. Surfaces, interior, and adhesives are made from the same material. Elements like the seats can be recycled much more easily in the future, simply by melting them entirely.

Looking at the specifications, one can be reassured. 650 kW, or 884 hp, will launch the Roadster to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a range reaching up to 600 kilometers.
