Tesla Model 3 2023: Huge Price Cut and Bonus Return!

Surprise this January 13th, Tesla Model 3 implements a dramatic price cut and reintroduces the eco bonus.

In 2022, the Tesla Model 3 lost its top spot in electric car sales in France. There are two reasons for this: the cannibalization of the Model Y, which is more spacious, and a skyrocketing price. Throughout the year, the base price jumped from €43,990 to €53,490. In addition to nearly €10,000 increase, the American sedan also lost a significant part of the valuable bonus, dropping from €6,000 to €2,000.

However, this January 13, 2023 marks a 180° turn for Elon Musk’s brand. After a recent reduction in China, Europe joins this massive promotion. Because we are not talking about €1,000 or €2,000 as with most cars. Here, the Tesla Model 3 drops from €53,490 to €44,990, a staggering reduction of €8,500.

And a direct consequence, the eco bonus makes a return, as it applies to electric cars priced below €47,000. With €5,000 less, or even €7,000 under certain income conditions, the Tesla Model 3 Propulsion is available from €39,990 (or €37,990 with an extra charge). Other versions also see discounts, including the Long Range dropping from €62,490 to €52,990 (a reduction of €9,500). The Model 3 Performance offers a smaller discount of €6,500, reducing its price from €66,490 to €59,990.

The Tesla Model Y, a technical cousin of the sedan, is also adopting a nice promotion in January 2023. The base price of the electric SUV drops from €49,990 to €46,990, also including the bonus.
