The future Lancias are hidden inside this strange object

Pu+Ra Zero: this is the name of this astonishing object. It marks the beginning of a new era for Lancia, which will rely on Stellantis group technology to finally attempt to emerge from the slump.

The name Pu+Ra comes from the combination of the adjectives “pure” and “radical”. The very smooth look of the sculpture and its chiseled features will inspire future Lancia models. The Italian brand wanted to imagine something futuristic, without turning its back on its rich history. According to the company, the Pu+Ra Zero reflects influences from the Aurelia or the Flaminia. The compact profile of the sculpture and its circular lights evoke the Stratos. The three light bars at the front reimagine the signature triangular grille of Lancia.

The Pu+Ra Zero also introduces a new logo, replacing the previous one. In fact, it is the overall brand identity that will change with the arrival of new models. The layout of dealerships and the graphic charter of sites or official documents will also be updated.

Lancia promises the arrival of 3 new electric models

Lancia will focus its efforts on electric vehicles and will definitively phase out thermal engines by 2028. The Italian manufacturer has already announced that it will launch three new battery-powered cars between 2024 and 2028. The first will be the successor to the Ypsilon, taking the form of a city car. This model will feature the circular lights from the Pu-Ra sculpture, as well as its Lancia lettering at the front. Next, a new Delta and a flagship vehicle will be added to the lineup.

This new range of electric vehicles will target the premium segment. A risky bet for Lancia, as customers for such cars seem reluctant to turn away from German brands. The success of the project will largely depend on how much Stellantis allocates to the development of these vehicles.
