Polestar Launches Major Electric Offensive!

With four new models by 2028, Polestar is accelerating its strategy and aiming for double-digit growth in Europe.

The Sino-Swedish manufacturer Polestar announced on February 18, 2026, the most significant product offensive in its history. The goal: to strengthen its position in the premium electric car market with four new 100% electric models launched over three years.

The first step will be in summer 2026 with the Polestar 5, a large four-door electric sedan positioned in the luxury GT segment. Built on a lightweight bonded aluminum platform, it aims to provide high performance, long range, and cutting-edge technology while embodying the brand’s “halo car” role.

A Chinese Dynamic with Swedish Elegance

In the fourth quarter of 2026, a new version of the Polestar 4 will complete the range. Already a bestseller for the manufacturer, this electric coupe SUV will have a more versatile version to attract a wider clientele in the strategic segment of electric SUVs.

In 2027, the new generation of the Polestar 2 will arrive. A true pillar of the brand with over 190,000 units sold, this electric sedan will be completely renewed to remain competitive against increasing competition in the premium electric vehicle market.

Finally, in 2028, the Polestar 7 will mark Polestar’s entry into the compact electric SUV segment, which represents about one-third of battery electric vehicle sales in Europe. Produced on the continent, this model will aim for an attractive positioning in terms of price and performance.
