MG wants to break electric car prices!

MG makes a significant impact with the launch of the new MG4 EV Urban priced below the psychological barrier of €20,000.

Launched at a price of €19,990, the MG4 EV Urban is not only affordable; it redefines the standards of the segment. While the competition often offers cramped city cars at this price, MG offers a real compact hatchback that is spacious and technologically advanced.

Built on the innovative E3 platform, it features Cell to Body technology (battery integrated into the chassis), optimizing interior space. The result is clear: a generous cabin (984 mm of legroom in the rear) and a record trunk of 480 liters, surpassing most of its direct rivals.

Technology and efficiency on point

Under the hood, the MG4 EV Urban focuses on efficiency. Equipped with LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries known for their durability, it offers two capacities: 43 kWh and 54 kWh. The latter can achieve up to 416 km of range (WLTP), making urban and highway journeys stress-free and budget-friendly.

Regarding charging, the Premium version recovers 10 to 80% of its energy in just 28 minutes. Inside, modernity prevails with a 12.8-inch central screen and, for the first time, a gear selector on the steering column to free up central space.

5-star safety

MG does not sacrifice safety for the sake of price. The MG4 EV Urban proudly displays 5 stars in the Euro NCAP test. Equipped with 7 airbags and the ADAS 3.0 suite of driving aids, it includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard from the Comfort trim level.
