Kylian Mbappé has chosen his company BMW at Real Madrid

As a partner of the Real Madrid football club, BMW outfits all star players, including Kylian Mbappé.

Well, it’s not really a gift, as the player won’t be able to keep the vehicle at the end of the loan, but the gesture is still nice. Thus, upon his arrival at his new football club after his time at PSG, Kylian Mbappé was offered a company BMW by Real Madrid.

He was free to choose whatever he wanted, and, oh magic, he landed on the simply most expensive model in the catalog: the BMW i7 M70 xDrive. With a starting price (in France) of 194,750 euros, this 100% electric version of the large and heavy Series 7 boasts 659 horsepower.

Not sure the rest of the technical specifications will interest Kylian Mbappé, like knowing that it can accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds or that its range is 538 kilometers. Not enough to make it to Barcelona (615 km from the Spanish capital) for the highly anticipated Classico. He’ll still need to take the private jet, oh well.

A cinema on board

If the exterior design of this i7 might hinder its commercial performance against Mercedes, there is one aspect that everyone agrees on. And it’s certainly what captivated Mbappé (aside from the idea of owning the most expensive): its interior cinema.

From the ceiling, a 31-inch diagonal screen deploys and activates an audio system with dozens of speakers. Thanks to 5G connectivity and Amazon Fire TV, a gigantic catalog of movies is available. LED lights on the ceiling enhance the ambiance, while the reclining seats make you feel like you’re in an armchair.

Also ideal for rewatching football matches in replay, but one detail should not be forgotten: the driver. Yes, it’s all nice and dandy, but someone needs to drive the imposing BMW i7 M70 during the session.

Which is a good thing in a sense, since Kylian Mbappé does not (yet?) have a driver’s license.
