A promising electric SUV, but excluded from subsidies
Goodbye to the “open doors” customs duties, but also to the ecological bonus of 4000 euros in France (possibly more if you qualify for low income, conversion bonuses, etc.). Nevertheless, Cupra tried to cast doubt by pricing its entry-level model starting at 46,990 euros.
In the consumer’s mind, this suspicious price is the line that cannot be crossed to be eligible for the bonus. But no, it is a decoy.
It’s a pity because the vehicle known as Volkswagen ID. Unyx in China is a product that, beyond its very polarizing style, offers excellent performance. In its basic version Tavascan V 286, its range displays 569 km in mixed cycle and its power is 286 horsepower, while the battery is a 77 kWh cube. The VZ 340 4drive version boosts the power to 340 horsepower thanks to all-wheel drive, but the range drops to 515 km due to increased weight and consumption.
