A Fully Electric Mercedes Pagoda

Known for its Porsche and Land Rover-based conversions, the specialist Everrati has taken on a new icon, the Mercedes “Pagoda”.

Everrati is on the verge of becoming the ultimate reference in the art of projecting automotive icons into the 20th century through the integration of electric powertrain systems. Its latest creation, the zero-emission Mercedes-Benz SL W113 “Pagoda,” was unveiled today.

Among the most elegant cars of all time, the Mercedes-Benz SL “Pagoda” has belonged to countless celebrities since its launch in 1963. Whether legendary musicians such as John Lennon and Tina Turner, actors like Audrey Hepburn and Charlton Heston, or more modern stars including David Coulthard and Harry Styles, the SL “Pagoda” truly deserves its place in the Automotive Hall of Fame.

Today, Everrati respectfully redefined the masterpiece. Carefully restored by the best Mercedes specialists and re-motorized with a cutting-edge electric powertrain developed internally by Everrati, the elegant SL “Pagoda” is now a luxury grand touring car with an open roof and zero emissions.

The transition to electric energy involves a change in weight distribution. This has been achieved while keeping the key dimensions as close as possible to those of the donor SL “Pagoda.” The throttle response, performance, and chassis safety are enhanced, revitalizing the vehicle’s character. Structural integrity is also preserved, and the conversion is fully reversible, allowing the value of this collector’s model to be maintained.

The serially electrified Pagoda is equipped with a 54.4 kWh battery, offering a range of 260 km without emissions and a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in less than 8 seconds. A “Touring” version is also available, featuring a 68 kWh battery for a range of 320 km and a 0 to 100 km/h time under 7 seconds. Both versions have the same 300-horsepower engine. Not bad for an oldie!
