A fresh splash of color for the SEAT Ibiza and Arona

SEAT enriches the color palette of its two flagship urban models with the introduction of the Liminal and Hypnotic colors.

Following the commercial launch of the new SEAT Ibiza and SEAT Arona last January, SEAT is today announcing an update to their customization offer. Two new exterior shades, named Liminal and Hypnotic, are added to the initial palette of seven colors.

These new paint options have been selected to highlight the evolution of the brand’s stylistic language and enhance the dynamic character of the two models:

• Liminal: An expressive red designed to bring visual intensity and energy to the exterior design.
• Hypnotic: A vibrant yellow that emphasizes the modernity and younger aspect of the urban range.

These colors complement already established shades like the exclusive Onyric, thus offering customers nine customization options to tailor their vehicle to their aesthetic preferences.

Sales Dynamics and Outlook

This refresh comes in a context of strong performance for SEAT’s urban segments. In 2025, the SEAT Ibiza was the brand’s best-selling model with 94,800 units sold, closely followed by the SEAT Arona with 72,400 units.

In the first two months of 2026, the Ibiza also regained the lead in the automotive market in Spain, a first in nearly eight years, confirming the favorable reception of this new version.

Produced at the Martorell site in Barcelona, the Ibiza and Arona are part of an ambitious product renewal strategy. SEAT confirms that its entire range will be renewed with electrified powertrains by 2028. This plan will begin in 2027 with the introduction of mild-hybrid (MHEV) versions for the Ibiza and Arona.
