Unveiled at EICMA 2026, the Zero Project Ventura promises the thrill of electric supermotard at a more accessible price.
With a supermotard look, space for a passenger, and an enticing price promise: with Project Ventura, Zero Motorcycles aims to broaden its audience. The American manufacturer is particularly targeting bicycle users and those with small electric motorcycles who are ready to switch to a more road-oriented machine.
Developed from the XE platform, this new model features specific bodywork, 17-inch molded wheels, and street tires. The upright riding position is designed to promote a natural grip, while the brand promises agile handling. The weight is yet to be determined.
More than 20 kW and 120 km of announced range
The new motor is expected to deliver over 20 kW, equating to approximately 27 hp. Zero specifies a sustained maximum speed of 105 km/h with a momentary peak at 130 km/h. This is an important distinction for those considering regular road trips.
On its French website, the manufacturer states a real-world range estimated at 120 km. These performance figures are still preliminary: they do not yet represent the final specifications of the commercialized model.
For daily use, Ventura includes an on-board charger and the option to ride two-up. Battery capacity, charging power, and the time required to recharge are yet to be clarified.

The targeted price, below €8,000, could become its main selling point. However, it will be necessary to wait for the final French price and the selected standard equipment to assess its positioning.
Commercialization is scheduled for summer 2027. Until then, Zero plans to further refine this nearly-production motorcycle based on feedback from riders and its dealers.
