New Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric: Price, Range, and Features of the Two Trims

Renault is making significant changes to its 2026 Mégane E-Tech electric. The focus is on a simplified range, a new, more efficient battery, more standard equipment, and lower prices. The French electric compact is now offered with a single motorization, one battery, and two trim levels. This strategy allows for a starting price of €29,260 (after deducting the maximum “Coup de Pouce” bonus of €8,240 for eligible households), or €220/month for leasing.

Under the floor, the Renault Mégane E-Tech electric features a new 67 kWh LFP battery paired with a 220 hp (160 kW) motor delivering 300 Nm of torque. The range now reaches 500 km according to the WLTP cycle, while fast charging has improved significantly, going from 15 to 80% in just 24 minutes, which is about a 25% gain compared to the previous model.

Technology: Standard Equipment

The Techno trim becomes the real heart of the range. From this version, the Mégane E-Tech electric offers a very comprehensive set of equipment including the dual 12-inch openR screen with integrated Google, Google Maps, the intelligent assistant Gemini, the electric route planner, the digital rearview camera, heated steering wheel, heat pump, automatic battery pre-conditioning, as well as regenerative braking with paddles and One Pedal function.

This trim also comes with 19-inch wheels, a 440-liter trunk, a new more upscale interior presentation, and an 11 kW bidirectional AC charger. Packages allow for the addition of a Harman Kardon audio system, 20-inch wheels, the 22 kW charger, or advanced driving aids.

An Alpine Trim with Higher Specs

Priced at €32,260 (or €260/month), the Esprit Alpine trim focuses more on style and comfort. It is distinguished by a specific exterior presentation, standard 20-inch wheels, as well as electric, heated, and massaging seats.

The equipment also includes the Harman Kardon audio system, Active Driver Assist, a 360° camera, and automatic parking assistance, making this version the most complete in the range.
