Morning tea delivered by flying drone

Autoflight thé

Imagine your favorite green tea picked in the morning from the mountains of China and delivered fresh via eVTOL.

This scenario is no longer science fiction: AutoFlight has just completed the first spring tea delivery by a 2-ton class eVTOL in China.

The CarryAll (V2000CG), a fully autonomous and electric cargo drone, transported the precious leaves between Anshun and Guiyang, covering 120 km of rugged mountainous terrain in just 37 minutes. A record: on the region’s winding roads, the trip often takes several hours. No pilot on board, no landing strip needed: the aircraft takes off and lands vertically, like a silent, zero-emission helicopter.

Fast and Clean

Upon arriving in Guiyang, the tea took a high-speed train to reach Shanghai. The result? A hybrid system guaranteed zero emission “eVTOL + high-speed train” that allows for same-day delivery within 24 hours, from remote plantations to the tables of consumers in major Eastern cities. Goodbye to tea tired from hours in trucks!

With a payload of 400 kg, a cruising speed of around 180-200 km/h, and a range of up to 200 km, the CarryAll is already certified (Type, Production, and Airworthiness) by the Civil Aviation Administration of China – a world first in its category. Today it tackles agricultural logistics, and tomorrow perhaps emergency medicines or urban parcels.
