Alpine A290: The Electric Rally Accessible to All

The Alpine A290 Rallye is expanding into an unprecedented multi-discipline format to democratize access to competition.

Alpine is accelerating into the electric era with the A290 Rallye, its first fully electric customer competition model, designed for autonomous use on circuits and open roads, without any dedicated infrastructure other than standard charging stations. To support the production of new units and meet demand, the brand is launching the Alpine A290 Regional Trophy, a flexible and accessible format allowing drivers to compete in three disciplines: rally, hill climb, and slalom.

Another future for amateur rallying

Since November 2025, the A290 Rallye has demonstrated its full potential by competing with thermal rivals at the Vienne and Glane Rally, the Cœur des Vignobles Rally, and at the Cévennes Race Track. Building on these initial performances, Alpine now offers an open championship where each driver can freely participate in the eligible events of the FFSA calendar until October 18, 2026. Results are assessed based on performance and consistency, with a specific scoring system by discipline. The six best results will be counted to establish the final ranking, with €23,700 in prizes distributed among the top twenty.

As with the Alpine A290 Rallye Trophy, competitors can also join the Alpine Store Challenge, an initiative offering exclusive rewards and personalized support.
