Segway showcases the Xaber 300, its electric motorcycle inspired by the Dakar rally, at CES in Las Vegas.

After testing its limits at the 2025 Dakar Rally in the Future Mission 1000 category dedicated to sustainable technology vehicles, Segway is turning the experience into a consumer product. The Xaber 300, derived from the X1000 prototype, promises unprecedented off-road performance for electric adrenaline enthusiasts.

The motorcycle offers three power modes equivalent to 150, 200, and 300 cm³, effectively acting as three motorcycles in one. For experienced riders, an electronic clutch simulates the behavior of a mechanical clutch, while an adjustable traction control system adapts to different types of terrain. The maximum wheelie angle can even be set via the Segway app, utilizing gyroscopic technology inherited from the brand’s self-balancing vehicles.

Safety and control remain at the heart of the experience: speed limit, geofencing, and other parental features are accessible directly from the app. With a power-to-weight ratio of 24.7%, the Xaber 300 ensures a responsive and agile ride, supported by a two-year warranty on key components and a one-year warranty on the entire vehicle.
