Rimac begins production of its formidable Nevera
This page is translated from the original post "Rimac lance la production de sa redoutable Nevera" in French.

Five years after launching the project, Rimac has begun production of its new electric supercar.
The Nevera is assembled in Croatia, in the new Zagreb factory. Only 150 units will be produced, at a rate of 50 vehicles per year. The first has already rolled off the production line. It was displayed at the Goodwood Festival, held in England at the end of June. Officially designated #000, it will be kept by Rimac, which will use it for marketing operations.
The Nevera is the result of a long development process. Before reaching the production model, Rimac tested 18 prototypes. 9 of them were destroyed in crash tests.
The success already seems assured, as all units planned for the first year of production have already found buyers. On average, it takes 5 weeks to produce a Nevera, excluding the time needed for manufacturing the various components.

To make each unit unique, the customization options are extremely numerous. Rimac offers, for example, 36 predefined body colors, 3 types of carbon fiber, various leather or Alcantara upholstery options, and many finishes for the interior furniture.
Ready to challenge the Pininfarina Battista
The Rimac Nevera features four electric motors delivering a combined power of 1,914 hp and a torque of 2,360 Nm. Capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds and reaching a top speed of 412 km/h, it clearly surpasses many other thermal supercars in terms of performance. Regarding range, Rimac claims 550 km on WLTP cycle. The battery capacity is 120 kWh.
As a pioneer in the field of electric supercars, Rimac has since been joined by other equally ambitious brands. Pininfarina, for example, offers the Battista, a credible rival to the Nevera. Interestingly, the production of these two cars started almost simultaneously.
