Aehra Automobiles: A Sulfurous Electric SUV

Breathtaking lines, an 800 hp electric motor, and a likely release around 2025… Here is the new and alluring Aehra SUV!

To gain recognition among the general public, Aehra Automobiles heavily emphasized the design of its upcoming SUV, characterized by very short front and rear overhangs, wheels positioned at the four corners, and bulging fenders to house the massive 23-inch wheels (285/35 ZR23). Some might see a nod to another Italian brand… Lamborghini! And what about those gull-wing doors, which we hope will be preserved on the production model. At 5.10 meters long and 2 meters wide, the Aehra, still in prototype stage, also features a very generous 3-meter wheelbase, promising excellent interior space.

Aehra Automobiles claims to have paid close attention to the finesse of its SUV, specifically to reduce aerodynamic drag, as well as to enhance cooling and thermal management of the battery. The manufacturer also focused on composite materials to improve both rigidity and weight of the vehicle.

Electric Fury for the Aehra SUV

On the technical side, one or more electric motors are planned with a power ranging from 750 to 800 hp. Unusually for an electric car, the top speed could reach 265 km/h, risking a significant decrease in range at high speeds. However, Aehra reassures on this point and promises a range of 800 km!

As seen, this Aehra SUV is quite ambitious and should be followed by an electric sedan in the first quarter of 2023. The two series models that will result from this are scheduled for release in 2025. Finally, a word about the price, set at around 160,000 euros.
