Nissan lowers the price of its electric SUV Ariya
This page is translated from the original post "Nissan baisse le prix de son SUV électrique Ariya" in French.

A new entry-level finish for Engage allows the Nissan Ariya to offer a significantly more favorable value for money ratio.
We had the opportunity to test the Nissan Ariya early January. Despite very damp and cold weather, we still appreciated the Japanese SUV’s impressive range with its large battery, as well as its unprecedented build quality at Nissan, and its rather generous spaciousness (read our Nissan Ariya 87 kWh review).
Unfortunately, these qualities are somewhat overshadowed by fairly high prices, as well as very long delivery times. However, the situation at Nissan is beginning to improve, which has the good idea of offering a new entry-level model called Engage. Far from being stingy, its equipment includes more than just the essentials:
*Reversing camera
*19″ alloy wheels
*LED lights
*Wireless smartphone charger
*Digital instrumentation with dual 12.3-inch screens
*Heat pump heating…
The second good news is that this new trim level is compatible with both battery capacities of the Nissan Ariya: 63 kWh, with a theoretical range of 404 km, and 87 kWh, with a theoretical range of 536 km. Avid readers of Mobiwisy will have noticed the slight improvements compared to other versions, credited to the slightly lighter weight.
The starting price now drops to €45,800 for the Nissan Ariya 63 kWh Engage, which is eligible for the €5,000 bonus. To upgrade to the 87 kWh battery in Engage trim, it will cost €52,900, with no bonus applied. The total difference of €12,100 in favor of the smaller battery should give this version a wide success.

A super Nissan Ariya is also in the pipeline
A new powertrain is also introduced — a new 394 hp electric motor! This boosts the Nissan Ariya Evolve + (the name of the new trim) which, according to the manufacturer, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and reach 200 km/h.
The 87 kWh battery is retained here, and this version is paired with the e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive system. The trim is extremely well equipped: interior in quilted blue Sukumo leather, 20″ alloy wheels, and a 22 kW onboard charger. However, the price is quite steep, at €70,400 without any bonus.
