The MG4 brings new improvements

The MG4 has sold over 7,000 units since its launch in France in September 2022. Today, a new version is available for order.

Many new features are coming to the new version of this MG4. The modifications will not affect the vehicle’s price.

The “One Pedal” feature

What is One Pedal? It is a function that activates regenerative braking until the vehicle comes to a complete stop. You do not need to press the brake pedal for this. This feature is available on all trims, including Standard, Comfort, and Luxury.

A reduction in charging time

This reduction is present, but only affects the Luxury and Comfort ranges of the vehicle. The vehicle accepts a maximum power of 140 kW in direct current, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in 26 minutes. In the previous version, the same recharge took 35 minutes, a difference of 9 minutes.

Other new features also include a route planner available only for the “Luxury” model. An rear windshield wiper will be added, along with a third headrest and grab handles, which apply to the entire range.

The first deliveries of this “new” MG4 are expected starting in July 2023. The brand has also surpassed 10,000 sales since the beginning of 2023.
