Mini reveals more about the interior of its new electric vehicle

Day after day, the British manufacturer continues to tantalize us with some information about upcoming vehicles from the brand.
A few days ago, Mini released a short 15-second video showing a view of the interior of the new Mini Cooper SE electric. Today, the manufacturer gives us a sneak peek through images of a new sound universe, as well as a new circular OLED screen.
A new OLED screen
The new OLED screen will measure 24 cm in diameter. This screen features some new elements: a new navigation system integrated into it, as well as route planning similar to what many manufacturers offer. It will be possible to watch videos or even play video games.
A new sound universe
Four driving sounds will be available in upcoming Minis: “Core,” “Gokart,” “Timeless,” and “Balance.” The basic sound universe will be the “Core” mode, which will be the default. According to the manufacturer, the sound will be lively both from the inside and outside for passersby. The “Gokart” mode was designed for sporty models, with a sound suited for sporty driving. “Timeless” will be preferred for combustion engine models. Finally, the last sound mode available, “Balance.” It will be adapted for the brand’s upcoming 100% electric models.
The new electric Mini will be revealed at the IAA show in Munich next September, with deliveries expected to begin in early 2024.
