IXOOST, Decibels with an AMG Twist
This page is translated from the original post "IXOOST, décibels à la sauce AMG" in French.

Automobiles and related products have always gone hand in hand. From the best with the collaboration between Ferrari and B&O to the worst or almost with iXOOST and AMG.
Made-to-order with the finest Italian craftsmanship and manufacturing skills, the AMG Performance Luxury Audio is the first and only Bluetooth hi-fi system in the world to bear the AMG brand. Inspired by the lines of the AMG GT, this very high-end speaker was co-designed by AMG designers and the style department of iXOOST.
Repeat offenders
To better understand the philosophy of iXOOST, it is important to know that this name is inspired by the English word “exhaust”, meaning muffler. The connection to the automotive world is made, let’s move on. An Italian company based in Modena, IXOOST is renowned for its small series of speakers inspired by the automotive world. Initially, there was the almost understated Avalán inspired by Lamborghini Huracan, then the formidable EsaVox, with a carbon chassis and using exhaust tubes from Aventador to transmit bass. The Italians later collaborated with their transalpine cousins at Pirelli to create a wheel-shaped speaker, the Pirelli Zero Sound. In this case, the base was a scaled-down wheel and tire set, typically used in wind tunnel models. Perfect for impressing friends at home, but still pieces costing €24,800 for the EsaVox and €2,400 for the Pirelli Zero Sound.

AMG within iXOOST’s range
iXOOST has therefore set its sights on the AMG GT, and the result is quite surprising. The main body of the AMG Performance Luxury Audio is an entirely carbon fiber monocoque with a uniform weave at 45 degrees reminiscent of the hood of the AMG GT Black Series. On the sides, two original AMG GT exhausts serve as active bass reflex ports for a 360-degree sound experience. At the front, of course, it features the Mercedes star integrated into a grille inspired by the distinctive one of the AMG GT. Not the prettiest creation from Mercedes, to be honest.

While Lamborghini and Pirelli creations could provoke curiosity, whether positively or negatively, this new creation is more likely to make you smile than to inspire awe. But that is just a personal opinion. If you have more than 14,000 euros, we leave it up to you to purchase a speaker and form your own opinion.
