A Better Volkswagen T-Cross and Not More Expensive

A facelift and technological update that benefits the small SUV T-Cross without significantly impacting its prices.

For over three years, the T-Cross has had a successful run, never leaving the Top 5 best-selling Volkswagens. However, it was urgent to revive the momentum of this top-of-the-line upright bestseller and the new T-Cross arrives on the market in a largely optimized version.

The new T-Cross features daytime running lights and LED rear lights. The IQ.LIGHT matrix LED lighting, the innovative lighting system offered by Volkswagen, is introduced for the first time on this model. Driver assistance features are numerous, including a semi-autonomous driving assistance system as standard. The Travel Assist system provides longitudinal and lateral control of the vehicle in semi-autonomous mode.

Now, all versions of the new T-Cross are equipped as standard with digital onboard instruments. The dashboard has also been completely redesigned and features a new infotainment screen on all versions.

The ‘Life’ finish is the entry-level trim of the T-Cross. Three higher trims offering additional equipment compared to the ‘Life’ version are available: ‘Life Plus’, ‘Style’, and ‘R-Line’.

Depending on the trim, 3 engine options are available with three turbocharged petrol engines. A 1.0 TSI engine with 95 hp paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, a 1.0 TSI engine with 115 hp paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DSG), and a new engine for the T-Cross, the 1.5 TSI 150, also coupled with the DSG7.

The color palette includes three new shades: Raisin Yellow (a bright, sporty solid yellow), Light Blue Metallic (an elegant light blue), and Royal Red Metallic (a vivid, bright red).
