The Tesla Model Y now under €40,000

Tesla is currently offering its Model Y pre-configured models that are already available for delivery in France, making this SUV even more desirable.

The famous psychological threshold that marketing experts know how to exploit. Year-end is approaching, bonuses are starting to be paid in some companies, and it’s necessary to act quickly. Not to mention Black Friday, far from it, Tesla is discounting its Model Y already available for delivery and pre-configured by a small margin (-1380 euros).

In one sense, it’s not very serious since Tesla’s options catalog is limited through industrial rationalization—battery size, exterior colors, rims, interior color… and that’s about it.

These 1380 euros in discounts represent just a 3% gift, but every bit counts. Coupled with the 5000 euros ecological bonus, the price drops from 45,990 euros (without options) to 39,610 euros. The gap with the new Model 3 Highland is thus only 1620 euros once the government aid is taken into account in both cases.

More than the choice, it’s mainly the confusion created by Tesla by putting its two models in direct competition. Perhaps the uses are not exactly the same… but we’re playing with details here.
