Priced at €38,800, Is the Honda E:NY1 finally at the right price?

Thanks to the individual initiative of a Honda dealer, the company’s 100% SUV drops by nearly 4000 euros.

Here’s an unusual story. Launched with great surprise at a price subtly above the 47,000 euros mark which would have qualified it for the eco bonus, Honda then announced that dealers would take the necessary steps to make the E:NY1 ultimately eligible. Go figure the logic.

A few months later, another statement: the Honda E:NY1 symbolically fell below the 47,000 euros threshold. But to no avail: facing much more convincing rivals, we don’t see Japanese SUVs on our streets. Pity, because the product is very enjoyable and well designed.

Invited to order and register units before the 2024 eco bonus exclusion, dealers now have cars in stock. One dealer is taking the lead and adding 3900 euros of discount to the 5000 euro bonus, resulting in a final price reduction of 8900 euros.

At 38,800 euros, the Honda E:NY1 is now at its fair price. An opportunity to take advantage?
