Today’s Promotion: -28% on Hyundai Ioniq 5 (-13,700 €)

Now excluded from the ecological bonus and featuring a polarizing design, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 sees its price slashed to attract buyers.

For those who have never crossed paths with a Hyundai Ioniq 5, it’s hard to imagine how spacious this electric car really is. Resembling a very cubic shoe box with a large glass surface, the South Korean model is a comfortable cruiser. But this particularity comes at a cost: the Ioniq 5 has never been very affordable.

However, Hyundai revised its positioning in 2023 to make it eligible for the ecological bonus. A bit of a trick with a slightly less powerful technical specification, reduced range, and equipment. Still, this offer remains very appealing.

At €34,000, no hesitation?

Mobiwisy has found you today a “new” model registered at the end of 2023 (still 55 months of warranty!) to benefit from the €5,000 bonus at that time. However, with competitors also lowering their prices — led by the Tesla Model Y — it’s hard to stand out to customers. So, one dealer has decided to take the logical step: offering the Hyundai Ioniq 5 below the entry-level Renault Scenic.

As for equipment, it’s an avalanche! The only sticking point might be the relatively small 58 kWh battery, which offers around 300 km of range — no more. In everyday life, that’s more than enough, but a vehicle this size isn’t necessarily ideal for short trips.

But at €34,000, why ask the question at all? The AC charging is solid (11 kW) and excellent on DC (up to 350 kW!). So, stopping at the highway chargers a few times a year will be manageable.
