At €259/month, the MG ZS EV electric remains highly attractive

We expected the best from MG in 2024, and the Chinese-British brand certainly did not disappoint us in recent months. As soon as the Eco Bonus disappeared at the end of December 15, 2023, discounts flooded in like at Gravelotte, and the source has not run dry since. Technical Specifications?

At this price, you get the “small battery” version of 51 kWh which provides up to 320 km of range. The power is 130 kW (176 hp) with 280 Nm of torque. The MG ZS EV, being lightweight (1570 kg) for an electric SUV, offers good dynamism with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 8.6 seconds. The top speed is capped at 175 km/h, which is more than sufficient these days.

The on-board charger has a maximum power of 6.6 kW, allowing a full recharge in about 9 hours. With a fast charger, this value increases to 92 kW. Enough to confidently approach highway trips, although it’s not really its strong suit, as long trips will be limited to short hops of less than 200 km.
