Paris Firefighters at the Tour Auto

This is a very special crew that will set off for the Tour Auto 2024. A beautiful tribute on the roads of France to the firefighters.

For the very first time, the firefighters of Paris will participate in the Tour Auto. Carrying race number 18, a reminder of the firefighters’ emergency number, Patrick PICARD and Kevin PIERRE will be at the wheel of a fully restored 1962 Peugeot 404. The Paris firefighters will also be present in the closed parks of all the stage cities.

At each of these stops, the public will have the opportunity to receive training in life-saving techniques, such as how to approach and assist a victim, administer first aid, and perform resuscitation. Additionally, a detailed presentation of the firefighter profession will be offered, highlighting the different specialties: mechanic, bodyworker, painter, electrician, mason, carpenter, computer technician… Visitors will also become familiar with the process of joining as a firefighter.

The Paris firefighters will also be present during the exhibition days at Hall 6 of the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, on Sunday, April 21 from 2 PM to 10 PM and Monday, April 22 from 10 AM to 5 PM, featuring an exhibition of some vintage vehicles tracing the history of the Paris Fire Brigade.
