A new look for the Citroën Ami

The Citroën Ami celebrates its 4th anniversary by changing color and introduces a new high-end version, Peps!

Four years after its market introduction, the Citroën Ami adopts a new raw dark brown finish, “ Night Sepia ”. It will take some getting used to as this new body color replaces the original blue and applies to the entire range. This darker shade, tinted throughout, lies somewhere between brown and grey, is somewhat dull but can be enhanced with various color options and stickers offered by Citroën. Essential for a vehicle that can be driven without a license from the age of 14, an age where brown may not necessarily be the favorite color.

Citroën is also evolving the range by presenting the My Ami Peps trim, a high-end version that combines the best features of the Pop and Tonic versions. This version complements the entry-level Ami Ami and the mid-range versions My Ami Orange, Grey, or Blue.

Colors galore for the Peps

The Peps version features a very expressive front with a black graphic strip under the windshield highlighted by acid yellow horizontal stripes, as well as black headlight trims. A small rear spoiler, four floral-designed wheel trims with white decorations, two side window stickers and two door sill stickers complete the sporty, albeit somewhat baroque, look. Let’s just say it appeals to those who enjoy being seen.

As a budget-friendly car, the interior features minimalist but complete equipment including a smartphone holder, door nets animated by an orange strip, a central partition net, a yellow shopping hook, and three orange storage bins. The “My Connect box” allows you to connect your smartphone with Ami to access all its data (available range, mileage, maintenance alerts, etc.). For infotainment, it offers the “My Ami Play” interface that transforms the smartphone into a dashboard with quick access to navigation, music, radio, or phone calls.
