The Surprising 4-Seater Coupe from MG!
MG unveiled the Cyber GTS concept at Goodwood, a family version of its Cyberster roadster.
The MG Cyberster is a fantastic toy, but it’s a very selfish pleasure with only two seats. So what to do when the family grows? Buy a Porsche 911 or take a trip to the MG stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Cyber GTS is a two-door electric sports coupe, and while it is still just a concept, it is indeed drivable and will participate in the famous Hill Climb.
As MG celebrates its centenary, it is always fashionable to draw links between British past and Chinese present. The Cyber GTS is thus designed to be a nod to the MGC GTS Sebring, a racing car that participated in the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1968.

Unlike the Cyberster, the Cyber GTS concept is defined as a 2+2. The contrast between the endless front hood and the shooting brake rear is striking. The limited success encountered by this type of vehicle is largely due to this stylistic inconsistency, but MG’s rendering is far from unpleasant to the eye. It is mainly a way to test public reception and see if an ultra-sporty Cyberster with a roof, and thus a more rigid chassis, could be an option for the future.

To be very honest, we do not believe in a commercial future for such a divisive vehicle, but it should not go without follow-up. MG continues to remind that the MGB GT will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025, the perfect opportunity to unveil a new sports coupe.
