Ferrari extends its cryptocurrency payment flexibility to the European dealer network starting in July.

This alternative payment system was launched by Ferrari in the United States less than a year ago. It was designed to help dealers better meet the needs of a clientele that is evolving with the times. A younger clientele that has often struck wealth in the tech bubble and is well-versed in the new digital riches. But to the point of buying a car emblazoned with the Prancing Horse using virtual money? It seems to be a success as Ferrari has decided to extend this arrangement to all of its dealers on the old continent.

Ferrari remains at the forefront

By the end of 2024, Ferrari will go even further by generalizing cryptocurrency transactions in all countries of its international dealer network where this digital money is legally accepted.

Ferrari has, of course, ensured not only the reliability but also the legality of these transactions by relying on the expertise of various companies active in the cryptocurrency payment sector. These solutions will allow dealers to accept payments without having to manage cryptocurrencies directly, as they will be immediately converted into traditional currency. Given the particularly volatile nature of these currencies, the transaction will thus take place in real money after the immediate conversion of cryptocurrency at the time of the transaction. The solutions from the providers will allow for verification of the source of funds and protect transactions from price fluctuations related to exchange rates.
