Welcome to the Knokke Auto Show!

Every year, the main streets of Knokke le Zoute turn into an evening of glamour where exceptional automobiles take center stage.

“The Night of the Zoute” takes place every year on the first Friday of August in the Belgian seaside resort of Knokke le Zoute. This year, the big event was held on Friday, August 2, 2024, starting at 5:00 PM on the Kustlaan and Zeedijk-Het Zoute. It’s the perfect occasion to showcase beautiful outfits, impeccably pressed linen shirts, and of course, shiny car bodies!

The glamorous street fair generally attracts large crowds and is known as the event of the summer. It’s a must-see event where each merchant transforms their doorstep into a temporary “place to be.” Rest assured, if you’ve already been to the Mondial de l’Auto or the Tour Auto presentation night, the principle is the same. You stroll freely while watching a few fortunate ones indulge in champagne and canapés in private lounges that are off-limits to you. Welcome to the Muggles!

But you can be one of the crowd and still appreciate an extraordinary moment. This joyous evening remains an opportunity to attend fashion shows, with most stores festively presenting their new collections. You can enjoy the moment by the seaside while savoring some Zeeland mussels with a Chouffe in hand. In short, there’s a lot to experience, but this year, electrified automobiles were the stars of the show. It was a chance to meet the new Alpine A290, the Bentley Continental GT, the Lotus Emeya, and of course, the little queen of Belgian streets, the Microlino.

So forget about the South once and for all. The real summer is in the North where people have the warmth and joy of life in their hearts, which they only seem to lack in a few beautiful but misguided songs.
