The MG Cyber GTS in photos
The MG Cyber GTS, the 2+2 electric coupe version with a hardtop of the Cyberster, reveals a bit more and we still love it just as much.
MG promised to surprise us for the celebration of its centenary at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and we were not disappointed. Now flying the Chinese flag, the British-origin manufacturer paid a beautiful tribute to its heritage with this Cyber GTS concept. A concept car that could herald a hardtop version of the much-anticipated MG Cyberster roadster.

Instead of simply adding a roof to the Cyberster and stopping there, MG has gone all out to make the GTS a new car in its own right, paying homage to the MG GTS Sebring from the 1960s, a race car that earned its name competing in the formidable 12 Hours of Sebring in 1968. The body adopts a fastback look, with a roofline that elegantly stretches to the rear trunk and ends with a ducktail aerodynamic appendage.

As it stands, the MG Cyber GTS Concept is just that, a mere concept, but the enthusiasm surrounding the model can only prompt MG to consider the possibility of a production model. The photos we present here have been published by MG after the Festival of Speed, and the car sports a specific decoration that it did not have at its presentation. This clearly shows that MG has continued to think and work on this concept, which is not just a car for an event, but a solid basis for future reflection. Furthermore, MG continues to remind that the MGB GT will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025. The ideal occasion to unveil a new sports coupe, right?

Perhaps we are dreaming a bit in extrapolating information that isn’t really there, but what can we say… When presented with such a beautiful car, why should we refrain from dreaming?
