Go-Karting Accessible to People with Reduced Mobility in Le Mans
This page is translated from the original post "Le Karting accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite au Mans" in French.

Two karts specially adapted for people with reduced mobility (PRM) are now offered at the 24 Hours Karting.
These two karts are the result of a fundraising campaign initiated by the Sarthe-based association MOTORSPORT IS GENEROUS as part of the TOUS EN KART project. The funds enabled the purchase and adaptation of these two karts donated to the Automobile Club de l’Ouest to be integrated into the rental fleet. This wonderful project aims to promote accessibility and inclusion within motorsports and offers everyone the opportunity to experience the joys of karting.
Frédéric SAUSSET, President of the association SRT41, and sponsor of MOTORSPORT IS GENEROUS played an important role in realizing this initiative, providing moral and technical support as well as his CSR expertise, both with the FFSA and in his dealings with the ACO.
MOTORSPORT IS GENEROUS will also offer 100 passes distributed between the Sarthe delegation of APF France Handicap and the Center of the Arche of Saint Saturnin so that people with reduced mobility can come to discover or rediscover the pleasure of karting on the Le Mans track.
The PRM Karts:
• 1 SODI 270 cc kart, to allow young people from the age of 13 to enjoy the pleasure of karting
• 1 SODI 390 cc kart for adults, allowing leisure use in sessions, but also participation in competitions (endurance type) organized on the circuits of Le Mans.
These karts will soon be available for rental, allowing everyone to share unforgettable moments on the track.
