A new Mercedes feature that can make your life easier

The time spent on the road is becoming less and less time wasted, and with Mercedes, it could even be time gained.

Mercedes is enhancing its MBUX system with MBUX Notes, a hands-free voice note-taking app powered by generative AI. This new tool makes capturing and organizing thoughts or tasks easy: creating a shopping list, preparing an agenda, or structuring ideas for a project becomes simple and secure, directly from your car.

Voice notes are encrypted, anonymized, then sent to the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud, where they are summarized and organized using OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology. Once processed, MBUX Notes can read the smart summary aloud or allow sharing notes via compatible messaging services. The app also offers integration with other popular productivity tools.

This feature is available in 30 European markets, with plans to roll out in regions such as the United States and Japan. It is accessible on Mercedes models equipped with the third-generation MBUX and an active Entertainment Package Plus subscription.
